Status : Married to Ala Sihir (https://alaymir.carrd.co/) Been two years now! 8/12/2022Unlike most Viera who grew up in the wilds of the Golmore Jungle, Aukai actually called Sharlayan his home. From what he remembers anyway. Being raised under one of the esteemed professors, he never knew his true family...and eventually just assumed raising a child in such a place where knowledge was everything, was a bit too much. Still, that didn't hold Aukai back from his studies as he took to them diligently and with passion. Unfortunately, he was never in the top ranking like his classmates and it made him an outcast as well as self-conscious about himself around his peers.Growing older now to adulthood, Aukai took a liking to one of the highest ranking students in his class...and the most popular, a female elezen. Of course, being the modest Viera he is, he kept his feelings to himself but found a hidden note in one of his study books.Meet her by the pier at night? This couldn't be happening! Not when everything else was barely getting by but excited he was and rushed off, ready to possibly confess his secret admiration but sadly as time ticked by, she never showed.To his misfortune just as he was about to leave with despair, Aukai was pushed into the bay at the dead of night. Robe ruined as well as his books but once he surfaced, cold and shivering, she stood there laughing with her friends.The bullying continued as Aukai found himself only wanting to be alone as a burly Roegadyn student cornered him in the hall between classes to clip the left side of his face with his fist.A scar is visible still to this day and since then, his eyesight is not the best. Without glasses, he's very near-sighted with images being blurry.Aukai has only found love in reading and writing as well as a young viera he met out in the field. At the moment, he lives day by day with his husband and new daughter named Sia, or Sisi for short.

Personality

Despite the hardships, Aukai holds no resentment and is actually fairly easy to strike up a conversation with and rather friendly. Problem is, if the conversation begins to bore, he may lose interest. He sees it as a mental scale within his mind. If the one he is holding a conversation with begins talking about their adventures and journeys, instant plus added. As stated in his biography, he is very self-conscious of himself so any form of flirting or compliments throws him off but he will quickly attempt to get the conversation back off himself.He's very polite with his manners (madams and sirs) and will always listen and give advice to those who need it. Next to reading, he enjoys learning about a person almost like it's a game of sorts followed by being a collector of minions (Malone is his favorite at the moment)Likes: Reading and writing are dead giveaways, listening to the rain, anything mint, honesty, minion collecting, cooking/baking (never certain if his food is good), and has picked up fishing as a small relaxing hobby.Dislikes: Two faces, selfishness, attention seekers.Fears: Deep waters and/or swimming (but is safe enough to do ocean fishing), abandonment, doubts (can lead to anxiety)
